PIERO RATTALINO

He taught at the Imola Academy from its foundation until 2023, the year of his passing.

He got his diploma in piano and composition at Parma’s Conservatory, he perfectioned in pianoforte with Marguerite Longa Parigi and with Carlo Vidusso in Milan. After a phase of composing and performing, he dedicated to critic and musical life organization. He was Art Director in Italian theatres and he held conferences, masterclasses, radio and TV shows. He was member of the jury in international competitions, while his bibliography counts more than 50 essays. He’s been teaching pianoforte at Imola’s Accademia Pianistica di Imola ever since its foundation.
