Born in 1968 in Locarno, Switzerland, from a long term musical family,he received a wide education by his father, composer and orchestra conductor. During his learning period, he studied at Paris Conservatory, Milan Conservatory and at New York Juilliard School of Music.He’s performed both as soloist and as in a chamber group in the most important concert halls and in the most prestigious festivals. He showed off in many international radio and TV shows. He’s been teaching cello since 1999 at the Vienna Conservatory and he’s been teaching at Imola’s Accademia Pianistica since 2016. He plays a Francesco Ruggeri’s cello (Cremona), made in 1675.
