MARCO ZUCCARINI Director
He got his Diploma at Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan in Pianoforte and Clarinet, he kept on improving at Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in chamber music with Maestro Riccardo Brengola. In 1982 he got two honorary diplomas and the “Peterlongo” Award at Accademia Chigiana in Siena. He’s had an intense chamber music carrier which has taken him to perform in many cities in Europe and many festivals, collaborating with famous artists. He has devoted to orchestra conduction since 1989, working with many famous Italian orchestras, as well as prestigious soloists. In 1990 he founded the Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza’s Orchestra. From 1992 to 2000 we were Principal Resident Conductor for Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese and he is chamber music teacher at Conservatorio “A.Casella” in L’Aquila. In January 1998 he was invited to Australia to conduct the Australian Youth Orchestra for the 50th anniversary of the Australian National Music Camp as well as West Australian Symphony Orchestra in Perth. In July 2004 he conducted 3 concerts with Accademia della Scala Orchestra and in February 2005 he debuted in Bucarest with the Filarmonic “Enescu”. In 2007 he debuted with Sinfonica Siciliana in Palermo. He’s taught chamber music at Conservatorio “G.Verdi” in Turin. Art Director at Artistico at the International Cello competition“B.Mazzacurati” in Turin, he’s been part of important juries in international competitions such as the International Chamber Music Competition in Pinerolo and at the 19th International competition “Paloma O’Shea”. In September 2018 he conducted Martha Argerich e Sergey Nakariakov at the Chamber Music Festival in Porto Cervo. In November 2015 he was appointed Director of Conservatorio “G.Verdi” in Turin.
