He studied with Franco Scala at Pesaro’s Conservatory and at Imola’s Accademia Pianistica. His carrier took a switch in 1989 winning First prize at the Franz Liszt competiton in Utrecht.He’s performed solo regularly all over Europe ever since.He’s a very appreciated solo player, he’s played with prestigious orchestras . Among his achievements is his debut with Munchner Philharmoniker, directed by Kreizberg, and with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Noseda. He’s got an active carrier as Chamber player, performing in a duo with artists such as Frank Peter Zimmermann and Leonidas Kavakos. He teaches pianoforte at Imola’s Accademia Pianistica.
