Emanuele Schillaci “10°00′ Sud 55°00′ Ovest”

A truly unique project of music for 7-string guitar, inspired by Brazilian culture, had been composed by Emanuele Schillaci and produced by 2R Studio Produzioni Multimediali.

The project is “10°00′ Sud 55°00′ Ovest”, which are the geographic coordinates of Brazil. It has been produced and distributed by Riccardo Radivo’s 2R Digital Classics and Mayaka Nakagawa, as executive producers, together for the second time; at Mixing & Mastering Andrea Hideo Zorat.

‘It is a work composed entirely of my original music,’ Schillaci says, ’and is the result of the varied musical universe that has always influenced me: classical music, Brazilian music, jazz and more. The record consists of eight tracks, four of which are mainly inspired by the world of Choro and Brazilian solo guitar, two ‘Enigmatic Studies’ that represent the most modern and free part of my creativity and two stand-alone tracks, ‘Toccata Marina’ and ‘Circle’, which are the first pieces I wrote for guitar’.
