ENTRANCE EXAM
Attendance of the Advanced Flute Courses is subject to passing the entrance exam by audition, with a programme of:
– partita in A minor by J.S. Bach or a fantasia by Telemann
– 1st movement of a concerto by W.A. Mozart
– one piece of your choice for solo flute from the 20th century
or, alternatively, students may play a free program of at least 30 min, including 2/3 pieces of different eras and styles, as long as agreed upon with the course coordinator, M° Valentini.
LESSONS/ATTENDANCE
Once admitted, students will be given an individual study plan that takes into account the actual needs of the student.
The course are structured by modules with lessons about technique, repertoire and chamber music with piano, other than specific lessons on preparation for competitions and auditions. The modules have different costs according to the study plan and the number of hours, for each academic year. Lessons are held from October to September of the following year (excluding July and August), with monthly stages, usually including weekends.
In order to attend the following academic year, it is mandatory to pass the passage exam with a program that will be agreed upon with the teacher.

Bachelor’s Degree Program (L3) and Master’s Degree Program (LM 45).

The program of instrumental exams is equivalent to those of the Flute Advanced courses.
