Piano Course “Piano Duo Repertoire”

Piano Course “Piano Duo Repertoire”

Teachers: André GalloIgor Roma

The Piano Course “Piano Duo Repertoire” addresses to all the students who intend to specialize in Piano Duo ensemble.  The Piano Duo Repertoire is essential in young pianist’s cultural and instrumental education. Its literature is very specific and wide. With original pieces and transcriptions which enhance the capacity of notation and the growth of the piano technique, it goes through time and different styles, making this subject so particular in High Specialization Courses. The Piano Duo Repertoire for two Pianos/ 4 hands Piano requires an advanced view of the piano and ensemble sound, asking both pianists remarkable abilities, technical and tonal, and most of all a deep attention in earing and organizing the sound.

Lessons will be held with both Teachers in co-presence.

The teaching method at the Academy is built up of courses, seminars, practice and concerts, which are scheduled for every year by the Academic Board and approved by the educational committee.

The academic year starts on October 15th and finishes on October 14th of the following year.

It is possible to enter as Auditor, under a previous authorization to be obtained by written request via e-mail to the main office address. Auditors may attend to all the Academy’s activities, under the single teacher’s authorization, but they are not allowed to write on their resumé that they are or were students at the Academy.
